OUR WAY OF LIFE IN AUSTRALIA

The Filipino population is one of the top 10 ethnic communities in Australia and continues to increase.

We believe that the Australian way of life is changing and a part of it comes from the influences of the Filipino’s rich cultural heritage.

Similarly, the diversity of Australia’s multi-ethnic population has contributed to the Filipino-Australians’ everyday living.

It is, therefore, a notable initiative to discover and preserve the Filipino-Australian story that imparts its Filipino origin as it acquires influences in an Australian setting.

WHAT WE DO

Pamana Australia’s main areas of operation.

Documentation

The main mission of Pamana Australia is to research and record the Filipino community’s history and cultural heritage.

Funding

Raising funds (donations, grants, events, merchandise, etc.) is the lifeblood of Pamana to be able to achieve its mission.

Training

Training and workshops assist members and volunteers to bring out the best in them towards achieving Pamana Australia’s mission.

Production

Our creative arm, Sandok Production focuses on producing Filipino-inspired cultural and artistic outputs via live or digital media.
