MISSION
Pamana Australia aims to discover and define our unique identity as Filipino-Australians.
Initiate, encourage or assist in the documenting of the history of Filipino migrants in Victoria, in particular, and Australia, in general.
Establish a Philippine cultural centre and museum in Victoria.
Increase access, awareness and understanding within the community of the importance of the Filipino heritage and contribution to Australia.
Assist and encourage members and the Filipino-Australian community in the preservation of records, sites and objects with special heritage significance.
Liaise and network with other Filipino arts, cultural and historical groups within Australia and around the world.
Promote friendship, cooperation, and understanding between the Filipino-Australian community and the wider Australian community.
Forge collaborative partnerships with Filipino and other multicultural groups in developing projects related to history, arts, and culture.
Collaborate and exchange ideas with other ethnic and cultural heritage groups in Australia.
